For over a decade, PSA business group and charitable foundation have contracted farming with Pingtung fruit farmers to purchase in-season Aiwen mango as the annual Dragon Boat Festival gift box. It differs from the traditional festival gift box and has earned the heart of the receivers. Recently, the outbreak of Covid-19 has once again affected the fruit industry. PSA, showing support and appreciation for the local farmers, has not only purchased the original 700 boxes but also made an additional order of all the left-over mangoes to share with its employees. PSA will stand by the fruit farmers in the impact of Covid-19.

The global outbreak of Covid-19 has spread for over a year. It is not too much a hardship for most people to travel less and to skip a few performances. However, since a month ago, Taiwan has entered the 3-level alert and people starts to feel the impact of epidemic prevention measures on daily life. In fact, many people and their businesses have already suffered for a long time. The situation of tourism and tour guides, entertainment industry and theater actors, and catering business and farmers has worsened after the announcement of 3-level alert. To make the matters worse, the invasion of variant strains of Covid-19 last week has caused a wave of order cancelling that affects the mango farmers greatly.
